Raith Rovers have sacked manager Barry Robson after four defeats from their past six Scottish Championship games. The 47-year-old manager, who moved to Stark's Park at the tail end of 2024, departs 11 months into a two-and-a-half year contract. Assistant manager Andy Kirk has also been relieved of his duties. The Kirkcaldy club sit in sixth place with 18 points from 14 games, 13 points behind league leaders St Johnstone, but just one behind Fife rivals Dunfermline Athletic in fourth spot. Experienced defender Paul Hanlon will step in as interim player-manager for the next match at home to bottom-of-the-table Airdrieonians on Saturday. Hanlon will be assisted by technical director John Potter and first team coach Mark McKenna.
